Do our wishes change with time?

Interestingly our wishes change with passing time. If you are a kid then you must be wishing for a gun, racing car, skates or a Barbie. If you are young you might be wishing that everyday is a Friday or you might be looking forward to getting a better job. You might also wish to earn loads of money or yearn for luck in matters of love and romance. You wish alas! Your boss be a little more understanding and compassionate. Wishes do come true

I am glad that most of the time my wishes come true. My team wins tournaments even though we are not the strongest team, my girlfriend finally talks to me after several days of silence, in fact there are countless such situations where surprisingly my wishes have come true. I have heard people saying that it is the weak who find solace making wishes for something. But I believe they will change their mind once they realize the power of a wish that can turn even the impossible into possible.

My Wishes keep me going

Whenever there is something which I find unattainable, at least for the time being, I make a wish to achieve it sometime in future. I make wishes to do well in the exams whenever the exam approaches, I do the same when there is a football match and my team has the minimum chance of winning, I make wishes when my girlfriend is angry and doesn't speak to me for days and I make wishes in many such situations. My wishes keep my hope alive and provide me the strength to endure the days until my wishes come true. Would you agree?
